Went to local place to check out hands-on. I was not impressed at all. The thing just felt cheap. I could not imagine playing it for long. It was not fun to hold and parts looked cheesy. Other than body shape, it was nearly identical to the Epiphone SG-Special Electric Guitar sold at the same price.
I am surprised the Les Paul name was allowed to be used on this.

I have 13 guitars and bought this one on recently not expecting too much.This guitar smoke's .I got it straight out of the box it needed a slight setup,the intonation was out a little bit but when i set it up I was very pleased with the sound the color (wine,very cool looking) and playability.great deal for the price.It is the 4th Epiphone i bought this month they are getting better and better. -- amazing
