Bought this for my 8-year-old son as a starter guitar. The guitar is good - small size, nice sound and holds a tune well, but the amp is a joke - a wire snapped when we installed the battery, and there is no power adapter included. We got an adapter and all that comes out of the amp is static. If you buy this, plan on getting a different amp - this one is a piece of junk. -- Guitar good, BAD AMP

This guitar requires an adaptor for the amp power (not included in kit and no mention of needing this). The amp is real scratchy with the 9V battery. -- Not all that
